Critically endangered with poor vision but great sense of hearing and smell

They are two-horned, solitary, herbivorous and prehistorically looking creatures divided into two distinct species, the White Rhino (long-faced, wide square-lipped and humped on the neck) and Black Rhino  (hooked-lipped with hairless thick hide).

With great sense of smell and hearing, but poor eye-sight they would charge unpredictably. They’re protected animals and can be seen at close range in Solio Ranch and Ol Pejeta Conservancies in Kenya.

Having the hallmark of a domestic cow, these wild creatures can be aggressive without a cause

With simmering temper and huge curved-up horns, Buffalos have only few predators that would dare attack. Resembling domestic cows, these herbivores hungout in large herds led by a dominant bull. When aged, they would prefer solitude, thus, aggressive and subsequently vulnerable to predatory  attacks, no less from Hyenas and Jackals!

AFRICAN EXPERIENCE

“Africa is mystic; it is wild; it is a sweltering inferno; it is a photographer’s paradise, a hunter’s Valhalla, an escapist’s Utopia. It is what you will & it withstands all interpretations. It is the last vestige of a dead world or the cradle of a shiny new one. To a lot of people, as to myself, it is just home.”  -Beryl Markham
